Yes. Like most wedding venues, Fox Meadows Farm requires couples to purchase a one-day special event liability insurance policy for their wedding day.

This policy:

• Covers your wedding date only

• Must name Fox Meadows Farm as an additional insured

• Typically provides at least $1,000,000 in liability coverage

Event insurance is usually very affordable (most couples spend under $150) and can be purchased through your current insurance provider or an online wedding/event insurance company.

Once your policy is in place, just email us a copy of the certificate—it’s a standard requirement and gives everyone extra peace of mind.

How does the payment schedule work?

For weddings at Fox Meadows Farm, we take a non-refundable retainer to hold your date, and the remaining balance is split into payments.

Our current payment schedule is:

• 25% retainer due at signing to reserve your date

• 25% due 90 days before the wedding

• 50% due 30 days before the wedding

We accept [Venmo / PayPal / Zelle / credit card / etc.].

If you prefer a different breakdown, we’re happy to chat and see what works best for both of us, as long as the final balance is paid 30 days before your wedding date.

Are payment terms the same for weddings and birthday/event rentals?

No. Weddings and non-wedding events follow different payment policies.
